Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code in connection with Ghogha (Kahalgaon) P.S. Case No.165 of 2015. Allegation against the petitioner is that he ravished to the informant. FSL report and other connected materials available on the record supports the allegation. The victim has supported the allegation in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. The petitioner is in custody since 30.08.2019.

Considering the nature of allegation and corroborating

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9835 of 2020(4) dt.28-08-2020 2/2 material, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail is refused. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
