Petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s). "i) For the issuance of an appropriate direction/s, writ/s, order/s to the respondent to give the maturity benefit to the petitioner of deceased policy holder, bearing policy numbers 511633106 & 513325632 to her wife as she is the nominee in the above policy.

After the matter was heard for some time, finding the Court not to be in favour with the submissions made across the Bar, learned counsel for the petitioner, under instructions, states that the petitioner shall be content if the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the present petition reserving liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings within a period of four weeks from today, before the appropriate forum and/or to take recourse to such other alternative remedies, equally efficacious in law. Permission granted.

We are sure that should such proceedings are initiated within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law, and limitation, if any, shall not be allowed to come in the way of deciding the petitioner's case on merits.

The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
