This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Salimpur P.S. Case No.264 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under sections 365, 380, 427, 436, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., the petitioner and other accused persons have entered into the house of the informant and looted gold ornaments, money and household articles from the house of the informant. They have also taken away the grand-son of the informant namely, Roshan Kumar, who is still traceless.

The case was registered in the year 2018 and the petitioners having been arrested on 02.09.2023.

Considering the nature of allegation and also the fact that the petitioner is an absconder and neither the victim has been recovered nor his dead-body has recovered, I am not inclined to grant the petitioners privilege of regular bail though some accused persons have been granted bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
