The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Raxaul P.S. Case No. 285 of 2019 registered for offence punishable under sections 307, 354, 354B, 406, 420, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
At the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one time settlement has taken place in this case and both the parties are not willing to proceed with this case. He has further submitted that the decree of divorce has also been granted.
