1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the instant writ application is being filed before this Hon'ble Court for issuance of an appropriate writ or order or direction, commanding the Respondents, especially Respondents No. 2 & 3 not to dispossess the petitioners from the land in question, in violation of the provisions contained in Section-3 of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate, Patna, for redressal of their aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate representation is filed by the petitioners, before the District Magistrate, Patna, within a period of two weeks from today, the District Magistrate, Patna, shall consider the same, in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
