Petitioners seek bail in Excise Case No.1056 of 2018 corresponding to P.R. No.43 of 2018-19 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that total 241.920 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from the Maruti Omni vehicle. Petitioner No.1 is said to be Driver and petitioner No.2 was sitting in the aforesaid vehicle.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in custody since 12.12.2018 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise, Kaimur at Bhabhua, in connection with Excise Case No.1056 of 2018 corresponding to P.R. No.43 of 2018-19, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioners.
