This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Kotwali P.S. Case No.40 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 8(c) and 21(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

The recovery is of 205 pieces of Codine cough syrup each containing 100 ml. from the house of the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 27.10.2024. He claims clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4942 of 2025(3) dt.19-04-2025 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Darbhanga/concerned Court below, in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No.40 of 2024.

At the time of accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner, the Court below shall verify the fact whether the petitioner has clean antecedent or not. If it is found that the petitioner has clean antecedent then only his bail bonds shall be accepted by the Court below.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his attendance at Kotwali Police Station, District- Darbhanga on first Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
