The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 418 of 2019, registered under Sections 384 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of making demand of rupees five lakh through mobile no. 8252431403 to the informant, Raj Kumar Jaiswal.

Submission is that it would appear from the order, dated 20.12.2019, passed in B.A. No. 1676 of 2019, whereby the prayer of the regular bail has been refused by the Additional Sessions Judge, II, Munger, the mobile is belonging to Md. Danish, but, petitioner on mere suspicion was apprehended by

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1247 of 2020(2) dt.21-01-2020 2/2 the police, who recorded his confessional statement to the effect that petitioner has made demand of the ransom. Further, submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 14.10.2019.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 418 of 2019 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger.
