2. With the consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the reliefs as claimed for in the present writ application, the petitioner is prepared to file a detailed representation before the Land Acquisition Officer, Samastipur (Respondent No. 4)

Patna High Court CWJC No.16158 of 2018(4) dt.21-08-2025 2/3 within one month from today and if such a representation is filed, the Land Acquisition Officer, Samastipur (Respondent No.

4) is directed to dispose of the same on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4. To this prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent-State does not have any objection.

5. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a a detailed representation before the Land Acquisition Officer, Samastipur (Respondent No. 4) within one month from today and if such a representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be heard and disposed of on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The entire exercise must be carried out within a period of six months from the date of filing of the representation by the petitioner. Needless to emphasize that the order which shall be passed by the Land Acquisition Officer, Samastipur (Respondent No. 4) should be a reasoned and speaking order.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of. All pending Interlocutory
