The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the Information Technology Act.

It is a case of harassing to the informant and her daughter by the petitioner and threatening them that he will make viral the photographs of her daughter on social media. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that during the time of working, the daughter of the informant and the petitioner came close to each other and used to spend a lot of time together. He further submits that in

No.3363 of 2022(3) dt.27-07-2022 2/3 the year 2019, the daughter of the informant secured a job in the Bihar State Co-operative Bank, Patna and for some time, the relationship between them remained at a long distance and they used to talk on video calls and phone. He further submits that all of a sudden, for the reasons best known to the daughter of the informant, her attitude towards the petitioner changed and the petitioner came to learn that a criminal case bearing Mufassil P.S. Case No. 321 of 2019 was lodged against him for offences under Sections 354(A), 354(B) and sections 66 (C ) and 66(D) of the I.T. Act. He further submits that thereafter the petitioner changed his mobile number and discarded his previous SIM card knowing fully well that he now has nothing to do with the daughter of the informant.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Nawada in connection with Mufassil P.S.
