The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.09.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of one case. The informant alleges that he was intercepted by four unknown criminals who looted his gold and silver ornaments along with some important documents and also snatched the keys of his motorcycle and fled from the place of occurrence. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the F.I.R. was against unknown and the name of this petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2924 of 2022(2) dt.25-05-2022 2/2 transpired on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Subodh Kumar, it is further submitted that the petitioner despite being in custody was not put on T.I.P. nor any incriminating article was recovered from his possession to connect him with the offence.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 24.09.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and he was not put on T.I.P. nor any incriminating article was recovered from his possession, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Minapur P.S. Case No. 577 of 2019 with a condition that one of the bailors of the petitioner shall be his father, Mohan Pandit. (Satyavrat Verma, J) Rishi/- U T
