This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Narpatganj Police Station Case No. 451 of 2018, disclosing offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The First Information Report was registered against unknown. There is allegation of snatching of a motorcycle, which has, subsequently, been recovered from the possession of an accused, who is said to have disclosed the petitioner's name as an accomplice before the police.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that over and above the fact that co-accused has named the petitioner in course of confessional statement, no material is available

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3699 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 against the petitioner.

Be that as it may, considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail.

This application is, accordingly, dismissed.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and applies for regular bail, if so advised, and his application shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by the present order of dismissal.
