The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 354, 325, 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. It is alleged against the petitioner that he assaulted sister-in-law of the informant namely Seema Devi on her head by iron rod, as a result of which, she sustained head injuries. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that both the petitioner and the informant are agnates and in the background of some petty dispute, the present accusation has been levelled against the petitioner. There is counter version of the occurrence also. A statement has been made in para 3 of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13384 of 2021(3) dt.21-02-2022 2/2 petition that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge, Xth, Bhojpur, Ara in connection with Shahpur P.S. Case No. 228 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
