The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 816 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 120(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation is regarding the accused person, namely, Sagar Singh having killed the deceased and having disposed off her body and the petitioner is stated to be the landlord of the said premise in which the said deceased lady was staying.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that if at all anyone is responsible it is the said co-accused Sagar

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4085 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 Singh who is said to have killed the deceased lady and in fact he was overall In-Charge of the premise in question and was running a hostel. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no complicity in the matter, he is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 19.11.2018. Per contra, the learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 816 of 2018.
