JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 25-11-2024 A very short question is involved in the instant writ petition, viz, whether the petitioner is entitled to be considered for appointment by the Panchayat Selection Board as a Teacher on the basis of the certificate obtained by Hindi Vidyapeeth, Deoghar in the year 2008.

2. Current position with regard to appointment of Teachers is that the Teachers are selected for appointment by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Panchayat Department is no longer empowered to appoint any Teacher in the aforesaid scheme. As the scheme is abolished, the petitioner

3. However, petitioner may take part in the selection process conducted in future by the BPSC, subject to fulfillment of all conditions. The BPSC being the authority will take the final call with regard to the petitioner's claim for selection.

4. With the above direction, the instant writ petition is disposed of.
