The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bhairab Asthan P.S. Case No. 122 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. 1588 of 2018 for the offenses under Sections 399, 402 of the IPC and Sections 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Referring to the prosecution case he submits that in the instant case the police chased the vehicle and seized the Scorpio and apprehended three accused persons including the petitioner.
