Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kateya PS Case No. 445/2021 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

13.200 litres of illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and the procedure prescribed for search under CrPC and the Excise Act has not been followed. He next submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.11.2021 and there is no likelihood that the trial will be concluded in near future.

Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Gopalganj in connection with Kateya PS Case No. 445/2021.
