The petitioners' grievance relates to nonimplementation of an order passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Purnia, in Land Dispute Appeal No. 45 of 2013. It is disgusting to note that the litigants have to approach this Court seeking such relief, as sought for in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1602 of 2017(2) dt.12-03-2019 2/2 present writ application. The petitioners are said to have approached the Divisional Commissioner, Purnia also, by filing Misc. Case No. 220 of 2014, which seems to be pending for more than four years.

This writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Divisional Commissioner, Purnia, to ensure that the petitioners receive what they are entitled to under his own (Divisional Commissioner's) order, passed in Land Dispute Appeal No. 45 of 2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Before parting with the present order, I issue a note of caution to the authorities exercising the statutory powers that this Court may be constrained to be harsh while considering such nature of grievance, if corrective measures are not taken and this cavalier approach is not done away with.
