The petitioner being the husband of the deceased bears direct allegation of ill-treating and torturing the lady so much so that she was forced to commit suicide by hanging herself with the fan fixed in the ceiling of the house.

Considering the direct allegation of ill-treating the wife which appears verified by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jamui from the case diary as well, this Court is not inclined to direct the release of the petitioner at this stage.
