2. With the consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the present stage itself.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for seeking the reliefs as claimed for in the present writ application,
Patna High Court CWJC No.16072 of 2018(2) dt.21-08-2025 2/3 the petitioners are prepared to file a detailed representation before the District Magistrate, Patna (Respondent No. 2) and he further submits that if such a representation is filed, the District Magistrate, Patna may be directed to dispose of the said representation on merit after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.
4. To this prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned counsel appearing for the Respondent-State does not have any objection.
5. Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to file a detailed representation before the District Magistrate, Patna (Respondent No. 2) within one month from today and if such a representation is filed by the petitioners, the District Magistrate, Patna (Respondent No. 2) is directed to dispose of the same after hearing the petitioners within further period of six months from the date of filing of the representation. Needless to emphasize that the order which shall be passed by the District Magistrate, Patna (Respondent No. 2) should be a reasoned and speaking order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this
