The petitioner seeks bail in Barh P.S. Case No. 158 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 414 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.
The SHO of Barh intercepted a vehicle (Ambassador Car) bearing Registration No. WHP-3414. Teni Mahto and Uday Prasad Mehta were apprehended with the car. From the car 71 packets weighing 71 kg ganja were recovered.
It is submitted that the petitioner was not apprehended on the spot and nothing has been recovered
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8814 of 2015 (4) dt.01-05-2015 from the possession of the petitioner. Name of the petitioner figured in the confessional statement of co-accused Teni Mahto, the driver of the Ambassador car. The petitioner is in jail since 5.12.2014.
Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction learned ADJ VII, Patna in connection with Barh P.S. Case no. 158 of 2014.
