2. The petitioner has challenged the order dated 09.11.2017 passed by the District Magistrate, Gaya in Forest Appeal No. 48 of 2017, by which the order dated 04.04.2017 passed by the Divisional Forest Officer, Gaya in Confiscation Case No. 28 of 2006 has been confirmed.
3. There is an alternative remedy of revision before the Principal Secretary, Department of Forest and Environment, Govt. of Bihar, Patna.
4. In these circumstances, this application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to prefer the revision before the appropriate authority within 30 days from today. If the revision
Patna High Court CWJC No.17435 of 2018(3) dt.24-11-2025 2/2 is preferred from 30 days from today, then the revision shall be heard on merits and disposed of in accordance with law.
5. It has been submitted that the vehicle in question has been released by way of interim measure vide order dated 09.11.2009 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 18523 of 2008 titled as 'Bachchu Singh vs. State of Bihar and Ors.' The aforesaid interim order shall continue during the pendency of the revision.
