JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-04-2019 The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Gopalganj (Mahila) P.S.Case No. 34 of 2018 registered under Sections 406 and 498A/34 of the Indian penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioners, who are father-in-law and mother-in-law, is of subjecting the informant to cruelty. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that no specific allegation has been attributed against them and furthermore they are living separately for which they have filed a supplementary affidavit showing that they are residing at Varanasi.
