The petitioner is in custody in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 173 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)A and 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the statement of the informant, some persons assembled at Bhutahi Balan Bridge at N.H. 57 for committing serious crime. The police thereafter apprehended Amit Kumar and Nirbhaya Kumar loaded with country made pistol and four cartridges. It is submitted that nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. He is in custody since 15.07.2019. Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained

Case No.173 of 2018.
