The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Khodawandpur P.S. Case No. 201/2018 dated 07.09.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 342 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Three persons are said to have been assaulted by a mob of 2000 to 2500 persons. Aforesaid three persons who had entered the school premises, and were trying to misbehave with women teachers. They were assaulted by the crowd which had collected in the school.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4373 of 2019(2) dt.28-01-2019 2/3 In the meantime, as the F.I.R. indicates, the police party arrived, rescued the victims of the public ire, who were then taken to the hospital where they succumbed to the injuries.

The petitioner has been identified as one of the persons amongst 2500 persons who had assembled in the school.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is no specific accusation against the petitioner and even his identification in that crowd of 2500 persons appears to be unauthentic.

For the aforestated facts and taking into account his clean antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-
