Against the order of cancellation of licence of the petitioner under the PDS Scheme, he has preferred an appeal before the Appellate Authority, namely, the Collector of the district vide Appeal No.21/2020-21 on

Patna High Court CWJC No.814 of 2022(2) dt.23-02-2022 2/2 18.05.2020, but till date the appeal has not been disposed of.

In that view of the matter, we direct the Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal by a reasoned order, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of 60 days, to be counted from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Any breach in the timeline provided in this order shall be viewed seriously.

With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
