The petitioner is in custody since 06.08.2018 in connection with S.T. No. 150 of 2018 arising out of Digha P.S. Case No. 209 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 452, 341, 323, 324, 325, 326 and 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on 14.05.2018 the prayer for bail was rejected with a direction to the Court to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of six months. However, till date, there has been no progress in the trial.

Considering the aforementioned facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5326 of 2019(2) dt.01-02-2019 2/2 circumstances of the case and that the petitioner has been in custody for over one year and save and except one other antecedent, there is no other case against this petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the lime amount each to the satisfaction of A.D.J. 1st, Patna in connection with Digha P.S. Case No. 209 of 2017 (S.T. No. 150 of 2018).
