Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 406, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Petitioner is said to have involved in cyber crime along with other co-accused persons. It is alleged that one Balo Mahto is gang leader under whom this petitioner and others work and in the name of providing loans, huge amount of money was taken from several people.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is next submitted that name of the petitioner

No.2977 of 2023(2) dt.09-05-2023 2/2 transpired on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Balo Mahto and nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has got clean antecedent. . However, learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that during course of investigation, ample evidence has come against the petitioner and he is active member of the gang which is involved in alluring general public in the name of agency of Himalaya Company and providing loans. He further submits that anticipatory bail of similarly situated co-accused persons have already been rejected by co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 23.02.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 62870 of 2022. Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
