JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 25-01-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Pakaridayal P.S. Case No.197 of 2018 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30, 34 and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Considering the involvement of the petitioner in supply of country made liquor as also the provisions prescribed under sub-section (2) of Section 76 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner is rejected.
