The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Mohammadpur P.S. Case No. 109 of 2020, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395, 397 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, the accused persons committed theft of the motorcycle of the informant from his Palani.

It is submitted that petitioner has been made accused in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Akhlakh who was apprehended on the spot. No looted article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.
