JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 24-12-2021 Heard Mr. Rana Sanjay Kumar Singh, learned Advocate for the petitioner and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Tiwary, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Chakmehsi P.S. Case No. 144 of 2020 dated 11.07.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner notwithstanding the fact that now the informant and the victim does not want to prosecute him any further. The petition is dismissed.
