2. The petitioner is aggrieved by non-consideration of his claim for being added as a voter in Ward No. 53 of Gaya Municipal Corporation for which application was made on 25.02.2017 and also has been accepted by the competent authority and receipt given to him

Patna High Court CWJC No.4549 of 2017 dt.03-04-2017 2/2 on 25.02.2017, copy of which has been made Annexure-3 to the writ application.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the same having been accepted by the authorities, a decision has to be taken on it, but nothing has been done.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the matter be disposed off for considering the claim of the petitioner within a reasonable period.

5. Having considered the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-District Election Officer (Municipality), Gaya (respondent no. 2) to consider the claim of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within one week from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order before him.
