JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 20-02-2020 The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondents for grant of transport permit which has already been sanctioned in his favour way-back in March, 2019.

2. It appears from the record that on the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1673 of 2020 dt.20-02-2020 2/3 request of the petitioner and on his furnishing necessary documents, permit for two of the vehicles belonging to the petitioner for a particular route was sanctioned by the State Transport Authority. The petitioner was thereafter asked to furnish certain documents and enhanced fee, which too was deposited by the petitioner in time. Despite this, no permits are being issued for the two vehicles of the petitioner and the petitioner has not even been communicated any reason for non-grant of such permits.

3. There appears to be some lack of communication between the petitioner and the respondent/Transport Authority.

4. Should the petitioner make a suitable representation in this regard, raising the aforesaid issue before the Commissioner, Transport-Cum-Member Secretary, State Transport Authority, Bihar, Patna (respondent No. 3) within a period of three weeks from today, the same shall be looked into by the concerned respondent and a reasoned order shall be passed on such representation within a further period of three weeks

Patna High Court CWJC No.1673 of 2020 dt.20-02-2020 3/3 thereafter, which order shall be communicated to the petitioner forthwith.

5. If there is no impediment in grant of permits in favour of the petitioner for the two vehicles belonging to him for a particular route, which has already been sanctioned in the year 2019, necessary arrangement should be made for grant of such permit forthwith.

6. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
