In the present case, petitioner has made a prayer for payment of Rs.11,24,747/-.

The petitioner was awarded a contract for construction of Class I Animal Hospital at Chirohat Kurshakata in Jokihat Block, District Araria vide Agreement No.87 F2 of 2009-10. The total value of work was Rs.29,19,087/-. As per petitioner, he has completed the repair work and certain payment has been made but he has not been paid Rs.11,24,747/-.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1376 of 2017 dt.01-11-2017 In such view of the matter, petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation before the Principal Secretary, Department of Building Construction, Bihar, Patna who will verify the work completed by the petitioner and should make payment of admitted dues. If the Principal Secretary is not agreeable to the claim of the petitioner, in such circumstances, Principal Secretary will be obliged to give notice to the petitioner and after hearing he will pass a reasoned order in accordance with law. All process should be completed within a period of three months from the date of filing of the representation. With the aforesaid observation and direction this writ petition si disposed of.
