The petitioner seeks bail in a criminal prosecution registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is not named in the first information report vide Annexure-1 as an accused. However, taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is accused in as many as 15 criminal cases, almost of similar nature, which are said to have been committed from 2010 to 2014, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer for grant of bail at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Mahua P.S.Case No. 434 of 2012 pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Vaishali at Hajipur is rerjected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. However, if the trial of the petitioner is not concluded within a period of one year from the date of framing of charge, then he shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
