The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case in short is that the insurance of the vehicle of the petitioner is counterfeit one. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case due to mistake of fact. It has been submitted on

No.1740 of 2020(7) dt.06-01-2021 2/2 behalf of the petitioner that he had no knowledge that the insurance paper which was issued for the vehicle in question, was a counterfeit document. It has further been submitted that a separate F.I.R. was instituted with a similar allegation in respect of another vehicle and in the said case, the accused has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 7935 of 2020.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R./complaint case. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siwan in connection with Siwan Town P.S. Case No. 499 of 2019, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Sudhir Singh, J) Pankaj/- U T
