2. The accused/petitioner is named in the FIR and appending his arrest in connection with Simri P.S. Case No.162 of 2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 304-B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is to cause death of daughter of informant along with co-accused persons/ family members due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry as raised for cash of Rs.50,000/-.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel that the petitioner is not even a distant relative of main co-accused persons, who are husband and in-laws of the deceased/daughter of informant. It is submitted that he is a resident of different village and the maximum allegation what appears against him is
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6005 of 2024(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 of middle man, who helped in negotiation of marriage between deceased daughter of informant and main co-accused/husband, namely, Pappu Das. While concluding argument, it is submitted that the petitioner is man of clean antecedent.
5. The learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances and by taking note of fact as petitioner is not even a relative rather a resident of different village, where maximum allegation appears to be involved only in negotiation of marriage of daughter of informant with main co-accused, Pappu Das, accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Simri P.S. Case No.162 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
