1. The writ petition is filed for the following reliefs:- (a) For quashing of order dated 06.06.2017 passed by the District Magistrate, Kishanganj in Confiscation Case No. 10/201415 by which the District Magistrate, has confiscated the Vehicle of the petitioner and has directed to sell it through auction.
(b) For a direction to the respondent authorities to release the vehicole of the petitioner bearing No. BR-37F6841 and the Urea loaded on it.
(c) For a direction that
Patna High Court CWJC No.17025 of 2018(5) dt.29-08-2025 2/2 during pendency of this writ application the vehicle in question may not be sold.
(d) And for any other relief/reliefs that your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.
2. During the course of arguments, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the vehicle of the petitioner was sold in auction on 11.11.2023. Therefore, nothing remains for adjudication in the writ petition.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the concerned authorities and seek redressal in accordance with law.
