2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Araria P.S. Case No. 563 of 2024, registered for the offence under Sections 137(2) and 96 of the B.N.S., 2023 read with Section 8 of the POCSO Act.

3. The petitioner is accused of kidnapping a minor girl.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 11.11.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4169 of 2025(3) dt.19-04-2025 2/2 for bail.

6. Considering the nature of allegation and also considering the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court passed in the case of Pinki Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh reported as 2025 SCC OnLine 781, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

8. It appears a case of child trafficking, the trial is directed to be expedited and concluded at the earliest. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Ranjeet/- U T
