2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 457, 380 and Section 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Petitioner is a goldsmith and he is involved in purchasing looted/stolen gold ornaments/articles and during investigation his involvement has come in the present case.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner is in custody since 08.11.2023. No materials have come during investigation against the petitioner, therefore, he may be granted bail.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that materials have come

6. Considering the aforesaid, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. This application stands dismissed.

8. The court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.

9. If there is no sufficient progress in the trial on account of the delay caused by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
