2. The petitioner in the present writ application has prayed for the following relief/reliefs :- A. For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order/s, commanding the respondents for the followings :- I. To remove all encroachments done by the private respondents from a piece of Gairmajarua Aam Public Land (Public

Patna High Court CWJC No.1965 of 2025(2) dt.06-07-2026 2/2 road) appertaining to plot no. 166 measuring 3 1⁄2, 4 & 41⁄2 dismal respectively falling within Barwa mauza under Mainatand Block of West Champaran District.

II. To conclude the proceeding of Encroachment case no. 08/2023-24 initiated by the respondent no.5 in connection with the aforesaid encroachment done by the private respondents.

B. For any other relief/s to which the petitioner is found entitled to.

3. On instructions, it was informed by the learned counsel for the State that the Anchal Adhikari, vide letter no. 475 dated 04.07.2026, addressed to Sub-Divisional Officer, Narkatiaganj, has already taken steps for removal of encroachment and in fact a request was made for deployment of the police personnel for removal of encroachment on 11.07.2026.

4. A copy of the communication dated 04.07.2026 has been handed over to the learned counsel for petitioner in the Court.

5. Since the respondent authorities have already taken effective steps for removal of encroachment and nothing remains for adjudication, the present writ application is disposed of. (Vikash Kumar, J) Ashwin/- U
