The petitioners are accused in connection with Patori (Mohanpur O.P.) P.S. Case No. 421 of 2019, registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is that on receiving secret information about keeping the illicit liquor near the house of Chotelal Rai by petitioners, Bhullu Ray and Jimedar Ray, the informant along with other police personnel reached there. On seeing the police party, two persons succeeded to flee away but the local Choukidar identified them as Bhullu Ray (petitioner no.1) and Jimedar Ray (petitioner no.2). On search, 140 litres,

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and are in custody since 22.11.2019.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioners above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Samastipur, in connection with Patori (Mohanpur O.P.)
