The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 323, 341, 379 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the victim was called for and was discussing with respect to the land. After some time it turned to a hot discussion. It has further been alleged that petitioner has assaulted the victim with lathi over his head. In paragraph 7 of the case diary omnibus allegation has been made but supplementary case diary shows that victim has illicit relationship with one Reshma and in the mid night when the victim entered into the house and wanted to flee away, he

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2809 of 2015 (3) dt.04-03-2015 fell down, received injury and ultimately died. Looking to the materials available in the case diary, let petitioner, Md. Mahfuz, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnia in Purnia Sadar P.S. Case No. 431 of 2014, GR No.4299 of 2014.
