1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present civil writ application is being filed for the direction upon the respondents to grant him protection, who is a senior citizen from her daughter-in-law namely Kajal who is torturing him, forcing them to oust from their own residential house and in spite of his request given to the police, the police is neither helping him nor giving him any type of protection for the reason best known to the police."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner
Patna High Court CWJC No.1298 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, including that of approaching the District Magistrate, Begusarai and the Superintendent of Police, Begusarai, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
