Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420, 406, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that this petitioner along with other coaccused Priyanshu Singh cheated the informant and took away Rs.50,000 and jewellery worth Rs.6 lakh for getting her admission in M.B.A course.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has never taken any money from the informant nor any amount was transferred via electronic mode or by cash. There is no chit of paper on record in support of the allegation to get admission through back door is itself unlawful. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Ballia P.S. case no 262 of 2022 subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
