The petitioner Pappu Kumar seeks regular bail in Sessions Trial No. 153 of 2014 corresponding to Complaint Case No. 458 of 2002 under Sections 304B and others Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation against the petitioner that petitioner killed his wife due to non-fulfilment of demand of dowry and torture.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the wife gave birth to a dead child three months prior to the date of occurrence and she died on account of infection during course of treatment. The case is of the year 2002. Trial has already begun and two witnesses have been examined.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1558 of 2015 (2) dt.15-01-2015 enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within six months from the date of receipt of this order.
