The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Rajoun P.S. Case No. 374 of 2022 instituted for the offence u/s 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act. Earlier, the application for bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 20.04.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 1104 of 2023.

In pursuance to the direction of the Court, a Report with regard to present stage of trial vide dt. 08.02.2024 has been received from which, it appears that the FSL Report is anticipated to be produced before the Court for examination

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4296 of 2024(3) dt.13-03-2024 2/2 as witness and the learned trial Court had sought six months time to conclude the trial.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application is rejected.

The bail application stands disposed of.

However, learned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within stipulated period of time i.e. six months on day to day basis, as the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 07.08.2022, failing which the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail application.
