The petitioner is languishing in jail since 30.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under section 47(a) of the Excise Act.

Accusation is of carrying 3000 liters of illegal country made liquor on a Tata magic vehicle It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and petitioner was one of the passengers and statement to this effect has been made in paragraph 9 of the petition.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1005 of 2015 (2) dt.12-01-2015 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Munger, in connection with Case No. 16 C-3/2014.
