JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 22-02-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for a direction to the respondent authorities to select the petitioner on the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) as per the Advertisement published for recruitment of ASI (Steno) and Head Constable (Ministerial)- 2022 dated 23.11.2022.

(ii). For direction to the respondent authorities to re- examine the height and chest expansion of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.1234 of 2024(2) dt.22-02-2024 2/2 petitioner which was measured as 164.5 cm and 89-91 cm whereas the height of the petitioner is 166 cm and chest expansion is 87-92 cm."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
