This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Chakmeshi P.S. Case No.142 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under section 103(1) of the B.N.S., 2023. 3.

As per the F.I.R., the dead body of the deceased was recovered and none was named in the F.I.R. The petitioner is in custody since 26.09.2025.

Subsequently, during investigation, it has come that the deceased was in a relationship with Ragini Devi, the daughter of the petitioner, and because of which, this honour killing has happened. The wife of the petitioner namely, Anju Devil has given her self-inculpatory statement and described the killing of the deceased.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
